Crunchy Monday

This stuff is kicking my rear end. I’ve been having major headaches – major – turns out it’s a pinched nerve in my shoulder...hurts from the top of my head all the way to my bum. I had therapy last Friday and the combination of all three is working, slowly, but I’m kind of a slug in the meantime.

Anyway...this is part of suitcase # 4 – the one I said was ‘crunchy’ last week. I wasn't wrong was I...it does look crunchy, huh? It looks like this one was used the most out of the four so it’s taken most of the beating. I’m going to remove the torn and worn stuff and spray with matte sealer to keep the rest intact so it can live its’ new life as part of a side table.

And here’s the beginning of my solution for Decorating Dilemma #1. It’s my old, useless key box! The perfect size to fit over the key pad. I hacked at it with a screwdriver this weekend to get the back out (the front door fell off awhile ago). Now I just need to find a frame and image I'd like to put in it.

Lastly, I don’t know if I told you but I babysit Papa (my 86 year old father-in-law) on Mondays so Mondays are a bit out of my control as to what gets done. That’s why it’s usually a roundup of what I’ve done through the weekend.
